Working with other environment groups, we helped secure an ambitious Victorian Renewable Energy Target from the Andrews state government.
The target is 25 percent renewable energy by 2020 (up from the current 14 percent) and 40 percent by 2025, which is expected to support 5400 megawatts (MW) of new projects.
The target is expected to create more than 4000 new jobs in the renewable energy sector by 2024. Read more in our media release here.
