In recent times, the Friends of Gardiner's Creek Valley have landscaped and planted the sloping bank along the Monash Freeway in Glenburn Bend Park as part of an integrated urban bush care project; installed seats and tables in Glenburn Bend Park to enhance enjoyment of the area and assisted Melbourne Water in the restoration of creek banks in the Glen Iris Valley
