Friends of Merri Creek

The friends of Merri Creek are a voluntary community group which aims to preserve and restore the Merri Creek, its environs and tributaries. In 1995 they began a campaign to prevent the F2 freeway, protect the threatened grasslands in Craigieburn, protect Galada Tamboore gorge in Campbellfield and advance their proposal for a state park to protect these areas.
