Moreland Energy Foundation
The Moreland Energy Foundation (MEF) is the first of its kind, working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions within the Moreland community. Established by the Moreland City Council, the MEF is the first independent, locally based organisation devoted entirely to reducing community greenhouse emissions. To achieve this they work at a variety of levels - directly with local householders, businesses and community organisations, advising them how to reduce their energy usage; at a state and Commonwealth level - influence government to implement measures which will reduce demand for energy or increase the uptake of renewable energy.
