Unit 1: Introduction to Sustainability
This unit is an introduction to the course outline of the Youth Eco-Challenge. It is designed to help students consider what sustainability means to them. It will also clarify what is meant by ‘ecology’ and ‘biodiversity’, as key concepts in a sustainable future. The class includes team building games, activities about thinking skills and activities are designed to assess students’ existing knowledge and attitudes toward the environment.
