Unit 3: Energy Production and Use
This unit gets students thinking about how we produce electricity and what we do with energy. Through interactive games and slide shows, students learn about renewable and non-renewable energy, electricity production, the effects of climate change and the energy use of different appliances around the home. They then learn about an energy auditing resource which they will use in unit 4 to calculate the energy use of their own homes.
