The Victorian election this November will be huge for the future of clean energy in our state.
There’s no time to lose to make sure renewable energy and climate action are high on the agenda for voters and candidates of all stripes.
We’re kicking off a big year of powerful action with a series of Calling Parties to talk to voters in some of the seats that decide elections — starting with the sandbelt seats of Frankston, Carrum, Mordialloc and Bentleigh in Melbourne’s south-east. All of these seats are on a knife-edge which means political parties will be listening closely to what the people want.
Join us to hit the phones, connect and ask a few quick questions of residents in these key marginal seats.
The results will help us turn the broad community support for clean energy in the sandbelt into a powerful volunteer-led groundswell impossible for local candidates and voters to ignore!
We’ll provide all the training and resources you need. All you need to bring is yourself and your phone (if you can). Headphones could be handy too. We will also bring the tasty refreshments and friendly and supportive vibes.
