Snap rally for renewables

On Friday the 20th of April, state and federal Energy Ministers will converge on Melbourne to make critical decisions about our energy future. They will decide whether to endorse Prime Minister Turnbull’s National Energy Guarantee (NEG) – a policy that risks halting investment in clean energy and limiting our ability to rapidly cut climate pollution.

You can make sure Energy Ministers enter this meeting with clean energy front of mind by joining a community rally for renewables right outside.

We’ll be there with Friends of the Earth, union members and passionate individuals like yourself to send a message our decision makers can’t ignore.

Where: Outside the COAG meeting at the Sofitel Hotel, 25 Collins St Melbourne

When: Friday April 20, 7.45-9 am

RSVPs are essential so we can keep you in the loop if/when details change.

We will also be making beautiful props and colourful banners for the rally at Environment Victoria’s office (60 Leicester St Carlton) the night before. Check the box if you can come along to help from 5-7pm!
