more About the event

Join Environment Victoria, Friends of the Earth, Save Westernport and other allies outside AGL’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Melbourne Recital Centre on Wednesday 26 September 2018.

This is our chance to show AGL that they need to scrap their Westernport gas plan and prove their climate credentials.

If you are a shareholder or customer, there is a special role you can play in holding AGL to account, so please let us know

About AGL’s proposed gas terminal at Westernport Bay

This scheme threatens the beautiful Westernport Bay, which is a Ramsar-listed wetland and home to rare marine life and migratory birds. Worse still, it will increase climate pollution from more dirty fossil fuels we don’t need.
