People Power Workshops

Join our online workshop series to become part of a powerful new network of local leaders across Victoria!

Update 7th September: The workshop series is now full. If you would like to keep in contact or be put on the waiting list, please email us at community@environmentvictoria.org.au

We’re holding a series of online workshops, that will give you the skills you need to take meaningful action and connect with like-minded people in your community. Together, we’ll start building a network of people around the state who are taking action locally but as part of a powerful, state-wide voice.

With a committed and connected network of communities across Victoria, we will move our state beyond fossil fuels, protect nature and hold government and business accountable.

By joining our workshops and becoming part of our state-wide Action Network, you’ll meet new people, learn new skills, and make a difference in your community.

For Victoria to move towards a cleaner, healthier and safer future, it’s crucial that change is led by communities on the front lines of the energy transition and climate impacts – communities like those who live in the Ballarat region, Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley, the Peninsula and South-East suburbs of Melbourne, and Shepparton/Goulburn Valley.

If you live in one of those areas, our climate needs you!

WHEN: A series of 2 hour workshops, on Wednesdays from 6-8pm:

Wednesday 8th September, 6-8pm
Wednesday 15th September, 6-8pm
[Break for School Holidays]
Wednesday 6th October, 6-8pm
Wednesday 13th October, 6-8pm

WHERE: Online using Zoom

WHO: Local people from across Victoria, wanting to build people power here and across the state for big environmental and climate wins

WHAT YOU’LL GAIN: Skills to take action with your community, a vision and strategy for the next year and beyond, and support to get started with other local people at the workshop!
