The Festival of Big Ideas is coming to Gippsland this June! It’s all about generating and sharing BIG, BOLD and BRAVE ideas to collaboratively shape the future of Gippsland through the transition and beyond.
Our Action Network will be there over two days, with a stall and lots of fun to be had. We’ll be:
🐝 Reading to kids in our ‘EnviroVic Book Nook; – inspiring them with stories about people power, climate action and Caring for Country.
♻️ Assisting the ingenious Kurt the Cat (of the Cats Pyjamas) to turn e-waste into fabulous art
🍄 Sharing (and collecting ) ideas for a thriving Gippsland environment – connected by waterways and powered by clean renewable energy!
The festival will also feature a range of guests and speaker, including the likes of renowned scientist Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, futurist Steve Sammartino and our own Gippsland Local Organiser Alex Lieb, who’ll be sharing exciting plans from Regenerative Futures.
If you are interested in joining us on either day – for as little or as much as you like – please RSVP and we will get in touch. No experience necessary – just a big smile and good vibes!
