This Saturday, 6 November @ 1pm

It’s three and a bit weeks out from the state election and the pressure is on for the parties to deliver for our environment. First cab off the rank: replace that dirty dinosaur – Hazelwood Power Station – with clean energy, new green jobs and investment across the state.

We’ve been putting the heat on our pollies to Replace Hazelwood all year. We’ve written letters, door-knocked our neighbourhoods, installed billboards, held community meetings, met with our MPs and even compared where the parties stand on replacing Hazelwood. And after such an epic effort, and with the help of thousands of supporters, we've managed to make it a top issue leading into the state election. What’s more, we’ve now got a hot contest to see which party can deliver the full commitment at this election to replace whole shebang.

But there's loads more still to do. So we're rounding up the troops and taking the campaign up a notch. Now’s the time to stand together for one final big push to make sure the pollies get the message loud and clear, that the need to govern for Victorians and not the big polluters. So your Green Action this month (should you choose to accept it) is to join us this Saturday, 6 November at the State Library for our Rally to Replace ALL of Hazelwood. It'll be the biggest community action we take on climate change before this state election and could be the final push the pollies need to get across the finish line.

When: This Saturday, 6 November @ 1pm

Where: State Library, cnr of Swanston and Latrobe St, Melbourne

We look forward to seeing you there!

If you can’t make it to the rally, there are plenty of other ways to get involved. Get active
