The Victorian Government commits to potable water substitution

The Victorian Government commits to substitute 110 billion litres of potable water use by 2015 and 200 billion litres by 2030

This will boost water efficiency and the use of local and alternative water sources to meet Melbourne’s needs rather than building expensive and environmentally damaging dams and water infrastructure.
