Environment Victoria has created a new Promise Watch database to record the environment and climate change policy commitments of the major parties as they are announced.

Promise Watch aims to provide factual, spin-free, up-to-date information for Victorians about environmental issues and climate change to increase transparency and hold the parties to account for their election promises.

There are 3 policy categories:
1. Cleaning up power supplies and reducing carbon pollution
2. Making homes and communities efficient, affordable and sustainable
3. Protecting and restoring the natural environment

Each week leading up to the election on 29 November, Environment Victoria will update Promise Watch to include any new statements, policies or promises made by the political parties.
