We are pleased to contribute to the Draft Scoping Requirements to ensure AGL and APA’s Gas Import project undergoes a comprehensive Environment Effects Statement (EES).
This project has raised significant concern in the local and wider Victorian community due to its likelihood of increasing Victoria’s greenhouse gas emissions and posing risks to the natural values of Westernport Bay.
It is therefore critical that the EES is able to adequately assess the significant environmental risks associated with this project. This submission details a number of critical issues with the draft scoping requirements that must be amended in order to provide a proper assessment.
