Redheads for Climate Action

Tuesday, 3 August 2010

A small but fiery group of redheads will be out on the streets of Melbourne tomorrow to protest the lack of strong policies to reduce greenhouse pollution in the Federal election campaign, and to promote the Walk Against Warming on the 15th August.

“When Julia Gillard became Prime Minister it was a great day for Rangas globally. However she’s let us down badly on climate change, and now we no longer care what colour hair our politicians have, as long as they have some decent climate policies” said the head of Rangas for Climate Action Natalie Jamieson.

“With our pale skin and delicate features we’re worried that we’ll fry unless something is done to reduce greenhouse pollution in Australia.”
