To meet their stated leadership ambitions and to be the environmental stewards Victorians expect, the Andrews Government needs to enact and fund strong policies on climate change, energy efficiency, renewable energy and restoring our natural environment early in this term of government.
This report audits the Andrews Government’s progress on implementing the ALP’s pre-2014 election commitments on our environment. The report was compiled in November 2015 – one year after the 2014 Victorian election. The audit also considers environmental policy actions of significance (good and bad) that have been taken over the past 12 months that were not committed to prior to the 2014 election.
