For a long time now, Australia has been talking a lot about climate change while delaying action to prevent it. But in Victoria, our work together is creating a good news story.
We’ve won nation-leading laws to cut climate pollution and grow clean energy. This year, Hazelwood coal power station closed with a landmark transition package for workers. We helped lock in more than $162 million in the state budget to overhaul the Environmental Protection Authority, and we’re building a groundswell of support for protecting our rivers and threatened plants and animals.
