This Invasion Day, we invite you to stand with First Nations peoples at one of the hundreds of Invasion/Survival Day events across the country.
We can’t mark January 26 as a day of celebration, because it represents the beginning of land theft, massacres, forced removals, and many other atrocities.
It’s a day to listen to First Nations and stand with them in their call for justice and equality. It’s a time to acknowledge the achievements and resilience of the world’s oldest continuing cultures and Nations that have never ceded their sovereignty.
Stand with our First Nations People. Find an event near you.
