We’ve shown Australians want action.

Here are the 2025 campaign highlights you made possible.

Over the last couple of months our community stepped up to advocate for healthy flowing rivers, for efficient electric homes powered by renewable energy and for a nuclear-free Australia.

It’s incredible to see what’s possible when we all contribute … no matter if that’s getting out in the community and having conversations, attending election forums, signing petitions or donating.

Here are some of the highlights from the lead up to the 2025 election campaign, that our community made possible:

☢️ In the Latrobe Valley we worked with the local community to stand up to Dutton’s plan to build a nuclear reactor in the region. There were local forums, rallies, community conversations, billboards, full page newspaper ads, flyers and loads of local media coverage, including the local MP Darren Chester having to respond to our protest live on radio.

We built support in the suburbs for household clean energy solutions. As part of the ‘Renew Australia for All’ alliance, we helped kick off a huge new national campaign to demand support for efficient electrification, solar and batteries for everyone.

We were out on the ground in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs. From community markets to kitchen table conversations, train station flyers to digital ads seen by thousands, we’ve been getting the message out about clean energy and electrification. Our digital ads alone have been seen by over 300,000 people.

📺 We rolled out TV and digital ads across the state when the Coalition announced their plans to give public money to gas corporations and speed up approvals for destructive gas mining (watch it here).

💧 We launched a massive push to save the Murray-Darling – with billboards, social media, front-page newspaper ads and events.

As chair of the Murray-Darling Basin Conservation Alliance, we’ve been calling on the major parties to strengthen the Basin Plan to restore our rivers. The plan is due to be reset next year, so whoever wins will have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to rewrite the rules for the benefit of wetlands and wildlife across south-eastern Australia. We know what works, people out in their local communities, having conversations and building relationships. And with your support that’s what we’ll continue to do.
