Whitehorse Active Transport Action Group Inc. (WATAG)

WATAG is principally an advocacy group, but with some public community activities. We advocate for the use of local spaces to suit environmental purposes for living, recreation, safe and friendly local movement, children’s play and general planning of our towns and cities. We advocate for safer travel options for all - including the disabled - with an emphasis on walking and riding, using public transport, and multi-modal travel using all these modes. We believe that active travel is very environmentally beneficial, and especially good for personal and community health.
